The Other Boleyn Girl
The quote I chose for relation to real life topics would be "she looked blankly at me as I might look at a rivalry of birds fluttering in the dovecote. It was not as if it mattered. They would all be eaten in time." I find this a very open ended quote. You could talk about the human nature of wanting new things frequently, how power can make us feel so above others that their feelings do not matter, the quality of being shallow, or how love is a tiring game. You can put so much effort into someone and they can just say "you know what I'm not feeling this, adios". Humans, whether man or woman, have an obsession with new things. Something is gratifying when it is brand new but once it becomes used it doesn't feel first-class and you want better. This is how the game went in the book. The King made Mary his mistress and she bore two children for him. Anne was in the shadows, no one paid attention to her. When the King started to tire of Mary, Anne worked her charm and caught his attention. She is now almost in the seat as Queen of England and Mary as nothing but her chambermaid. To explain this quote the Queen is looking at Mary with no sympathy. It is all a game. She knew that Mary would eventually fall out of the picture and another woman, whether it was Anne or not, would step in. When one dies the new bird takes the nest. The other connection would be power with the King and new age people like celebrities with money. Power and money mixed together can make us blind, immortal, unstoppable, die quickly and shallow. When a person is in power most don't feel above all others but technically they are. If you are powerful and have money you can pretty much do anything you want, anything. People argue that statement "money can't buy happiness" but really it can. The King is the most respected and powerful man in Europe. He can have any woman that he wants. So really what is the point of holding onto one mistress to long? There isn't. The King moves on not realizing that Mary really has feelings for him. He leaves her wistful and desolate with the burden of two children who have his blood flowing in their viens. If he was poor and found another woman he might have done this to but really, he is a king and has women weakening at one look from him daily. His power makes him focused mainly on himself and not his duty with others. Like love, life is a game. If you dont keep up you will be vanquished by the other players. You must play your own game and play to your ability never coming short. If one dies, no one cares for everyone will die eventually, like the pigeons in the dovecote. You will only be remembered if you are worth remembering.

Top Five Reasons Why I Like Excercising
Probably my favorite past time and hobby is going to the gym or just excercising in general. The first reason would be the high after you are done. When I have a really intense, sweat promoting excercise I feel like I am unstoppable. It is an amazing sensation. The feeling of blood pumping through my body and my ragged breath can turn me from a bad mood to a good one no matter what. I work till I can't push myself any farther. The next reason is the sweat. It sounds gross to most people but I love it when I have sweat dripping off me. It makes me aware of my body and how hard I have worked. My faces is red, my shirt is soaked, and my face is dripping. Reason three, is when I finish school my goal is to be a personal trainer. With that being I try and make the most out of every session. I currently have a trainer and he is teaching me as much as he can. I have learned many ab workouts and circuits. I know it is my future career choice for sure. Being a trainer I have to be able to perform everything my client needs to. So, the more I workout the more educated and experienced I become. The fourth reason is the change in my body. I recently have started working more on my upper body with my goal being that I am able to do a full set of chin ups by myself. Over a month I have seen a noticable change with me excercising 5 days a week. I feel good, and I think that I look good. I am stronger and I feel more in touch with my body. Next Sunday I am starting up Fite Club which I am so excited for! It focuses on boxing which will also increase my upper body strength and agility. Finally, the last reason is the freedom of excercise. No one makes the rules for you. Its you, your body, and your mind. You choose what you work on and how hard you work making you in control of the results. That is why when you change your body, become faster, or stronger you know that you did it, and no one else. Everything was accomplished by your dedication and your drive. Excercising is one of the only things that is about just yourself.

Perils of Indifference
1. Vulnerability of Lack of Conscientiousness
2. I would connect the acts of "The Lottery" to the Rawandan Genocide. In the story no one really knows why they do this weekly act. They just do it because it's been done for longer then they can remember and at the time it seemed right and if you kill one person a week for many years that is alot of people dead for no reason. The Rawandan Genocide wasn't something that was done for a long time but the anger between the Hutu's and the Tutsis's lasted for a while before the war started and that was what caused the war in 1994 when the Tutsi's invaded the Hutus land. The thing the two incidents have in common isn't that though it's the act of killing innocent people just because.
3. Elie Wiesel's speech connects with the face that he talks over and over how indifference can be harsher then anger, and it can. By not caring and saying something, this community is allowing a person who is completely innocent to die each week all because no one says "this is wrong". The speech says that we are doing more harm by not caring then standing up getting angry. He talks about the Hollocaust saying if someone had of stepped in and really stood strong and said no alot less people might have been killed. If the people of the community decided they didn't want to do this ritual anymore like other communities many people would still be alive.

What to blog about?
I know some people think its easier to write about very open ended topics, like this one, but its really not.. at all. I mean unless you are really creative (which I am not) where do you start? Its hard. So I personally prefer topics where you can write what about what you want but have some direction to get you started off like "top three things". I liked that one. This topic sucks. Way to difficult for my mind. Just ramble on and make no sense. Blogging about travel, controversial world issues, favorite type of music or favorite way to pass time would be good. When I am passionate about something I can write for a while but something that I dont care about I can't write. So I am offcially done with this one. Ciao
Top 3 Male Athletes
There are some types of sports that just seem to always have sexy men, hockey, basketball, and swimming. Swimmers come in first, then hockey, then basketball. The best thing about swimmers is their bodies. Just toned everywhere. Like Michael Phelps for example. Swimming uses your whole body and you can definetly tell cause everywhere is toned, especially their backs and stomachs. Hockey boys, yes can be cocky for sure, but majority dress really nice on top of their hots bods. Like Lars Hepso, always looks good. They actually look like they care but not to much. Gangster, 10x to big clothes, no. Nice fitted jeans, polo shirts, yes. I just look at boys like Lars, Maddy and Emerson and go "wow", most of the girls that hang out with them do. Then there is basketball players. Im talkng about the black players. It may sound wierd but I have an very strong and unusual draw to the black male population. The good looking ones are extremely sexy. When I was in Canadas Wonderland this summer I was in chocolate heaven. Everywhere I looked, black man, black man, black man. They can make the gangster look hot and in their basketball uniform hollyyyy ! I sound like some sick pervert that is obsseive but Im really not. I just love boys who work for their bodies and know whats up. Man lines, by the way, are the best part.

Super Power
If I could have any super power it would be the ability to fly. Flying is so much cooler then anyother one because you can go anywhere in the world without the help of machinery. I could get up in the morning and decide to go to Mexico and fly there. Obviously it would take a couple of days but still. I wouldnt need to spend money on cars, gas, planes anything. You also wouldnt need to worry about traffic either. In the winter it would be cold so then I guess you could take a car but you would have a choice. The world would benefit from the ability to becasue we wouldnt have global warming since our emissions would be less. Since I can't drive yet I could also go to a friends house without having to wait for my mom to decide she can drive me. I dont think I would like retractable wings though cause that might be gross. I just want to be able to fly. Maybe a magic carpet? My second choice of super power abilities would that I would be able to breathe underwater. I would move somewhere warm though to use it because then I could swim with the dolphins and colorful fish. That would be sweet.
